  • Corporate Lawyer (Senior Associate)

    What we're looking for:
     
    Our corporate law practice is dynamic and growing. We wish for an experienced & competent corporate lawyer ( role as described below ) to join our team. Please note that this a full-time Work from Office position. We are not considering part-time or remote working for this role.
     
    Title: Corporate Lawyer ( Senior Associate)
     
    Job Location: New Delhi
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    1. Drafting and negotiation of transaction agreements/ documents, which inter alia include, term sheet, share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, business transfer agreements, asset purchase agreements, joint venture agreement and others.
    2. Knowledge of Due Diligence processes
    3. FEMA, RBI & SEBI related processes
    4. Drafting & negotiations of Real Estate, LLP & other contractual agreements.
    5. Should have sound legal knowledge on various corporate & other regulatory compliance applicable to Indian entities
    6. Liaise with Government departments and ensuring compliances in cases
    Any other related project assigned from time-to-time.
     
    Qualification & Experience:
     
    1. At least 5 years as a Corporate lawyer in a similar role.
    2. The candidate should be a graduate/ post-graduate in Law from a well ranked Law School
    3. The candidate should be self-motivated, hard-working & diligent.
    4. Must possess a high standard of written and spoken English.

  • Chartered Accountant

    Title: Chartered Accountant 

    Responsibilities:

    The role of a chartered accountant covers the following aspects of finance, taxation & accounts work:

    1. Coordinating for Filing monthly and Annual returns under GST and local tax laws
    2. Coordination for Filing of quarterly TDS returns and supporting in reduction of TDS demands related to 26AS system
    3. Attending the department as and when required and submitting details called upon, drafting and submitting of reply for notices
    4. Maintaining various control mechanisms to ensure that tax liability is correctly discharged.
    5. Supporting to complete IT assessment and corporate litigation
    6. Attending the State VAT and GST assessment/SCN’s/investigations before the department
    7. Ensure that state VAT and GST assessment is complete without demands
    8. Attending to the various audit team and ensuring to have nil or minimum qualification in the audit report.
    9. Coordination with banks as and when required
    10. Working on various tax projects related to taxation
    11. Support in various audits like a tax audit, transfer pricing audit, GST audit, statutory audit, Trial balance, P&L, Balance sheet review and reconciliations during the Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end close
    12. Transfer Pricing Analysis, documentation, and all the compliances
    13. Ensure assignments and projects are completed in the agreed timelines.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in the Taxation, finance & accounting domain
    • Strong understanding and experience of GAAP and IFRS
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) & accounting software (Tally)
    • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures, accounting & tax regulations

  • Associate – Civil Litigation

    Title: Associate – Civil Litigation
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Representing Clients in the court of law, tribunals & arbitration civil matters
    • Maintenance of statutory registers, records etc.
    • Drafting of pleadings, applications, evidence affidavits, POAs, list of documents, demand letters, reply, rejoinders, Appeals, Writs and SLPs
    • Draft Brief of Case files and summarize judgments
    • Follow up with Government departments and ensuring compliances in cases
    • Liaison with clients & able to independently handle matters
    • Should have hands on experience in filing procedures, attending enquires and execution proceedings.
    Qualification & Experience:
    • The candidate should be a graduate/ post-graduate in Law from a well ranked Law School and must possess a post qualification experience as a practicing advocate for a period ranging between 5 to 7 years.
    • The candidate should be self-motivated, hard-working & diligent.
    • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
    • Must possess a high standard of written and spoken English.
